Southern Cornbread

Ingredients 

1 Tablespoon of oil

2 eggs

2 cups of  buttermilk

1 tsp. baking soda

2 cups of yellow cornmeal

1 teaspoon salt

 

Directions 

Preheat oven to 450. Generously grease 9-inch square pan with oil. Place in hot oven while mixing batter. Beat eggs, buttermilk and soda. dd cornmeal; beat well.

Add salt. Pour into hot pan. 


Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
