Easy Recipes For Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients 

  • 2 tbl spoon Montreal Steak Spice
  • 3 stalks of celery chunked
  • 1 large onion chunked
  • 3 cloves of garlic peeled and sliced in half
  • 1 beef roast (cross rib is good)
  • 1 large can of whole tomatoes
 

 

 

Directions

 

In the morning before work or before your day gets busy.

Take Roast out of fridge, rub in the Montreal Steak Spice and let sit out of the fridge while you get everything else ready.

Get out your slow cooker / crock pot plug it in and set on high.

Throw in the onions, garlic, celery into the crock pot.

Open the can of whole tomatoes and pour into crock pot, slice the tomatoes in half.

Stir mixture.

Put roast into crock pot.

Cover and ignore until supper time 8+ hours later. Check when you get home that there is still enough liquid to cover meat.

Serve with mashed potatoes.
